The planning experience
How the day gets built
A wedding here is roughly four hundred small decisions. Our job is to make three hundred and eighty of them invisible to you. This is the fictional process, stage by stage.
Month 0
The tour
Ninety minutes on the grounds in the order your day would run, at roughly the hour it would run. We show you the least flattering corner as well as the best one.
Month 0–1
Holding a date
In a real venue, a signed agreement and a deposit. Here, nothing: this is a fictional concept, and no date is available, held or reserved.
Month 2
Design session
Two hours with your venue manager and floor plans at 1:100. We settle table shape, guest flow and where the sun is at your ceremony hour before anyone talks about linen.
Month 5
Vendor introductions
Catering from a shortlist of five fictional kitchens who know the service route; everything else open. We send your team the site pack — load-in, power, sound limits, parking.
Month 9
Timeline build
One document, built backwards from sunset, agreed by you, your planner and your photographer. It names who makes each decision on the day so nobody looks at you during dinner.
Week of
Rehearsal and final walk
Chairs set, processional walked, and the rain-plan call explained: made at noon by your venue manager and not revisited.
The day
Floor management
Your venue manager and a four-person team hold the site: load-in, resets, service pacing, the 92dB sound cap, and the last van out. You are not managing anything.
What we hold
- A named venue manager from first walkthrough to send-off — no handover in the final month
- Floor plans, sightlines and a light study for your specific date
- Vendor site pack, load-in scheduling and a staffed service entrance
- Rain plan held in the Glass Hall at no charge, decided at noon
- Setup, mid-event resets and end-of-night clear-down by estate staff
What we don't
- Full-service planning and design (we recommend one above 120 guests)
- Catering, bar, florals, photography and music — all contracted directly by you
- Guest accommodation beyond the six on-site bedrooms
- Anything at all in reality: this venue is a fictional portfolio concept
